RealDrums allow the user to create their own custom files. RealDrums require an audio file in WAV or WMA format which contains the recording of the desired drums. One or more text files contain the instructions to BiaB how to render the drums to an audio track that matches the chord sheet.
RealPercussion is an unofficial term for an audio recording of a percussion instrument, such as maracas or tamborine, that is formatted for use in the BiaB RealDrums system. The same techniques that make RealDrums possible also make the use of other percussion instruments possible.
There are links below to a two part tutorial on how to create RealPercussion for use in BiaB.
